boulderbar Seestadt opened in 2021 in Seestadt Aspern in Vienna's 22nd district (Donaustadt), about 5 minutes' walk from the U2 Seestadt station. It has about 1,300 m² of floor space and 1,400 m² of climbing surface on three levels, two outdoor areas, walls up to 4.5 m, a Moonboard and a 12×12 Kilter Board, a kids' area and a family zone (rebuilt in summer 2026), and a bar.

Bouldering grades

Each boulder uses holds of a single colour. The start holds carry signs that show the grade on a Fontainebleau-based scale: 3, 4A, 4B, 4C, 5A … 8A+, 8B. Boulders marked '?' instead of a grade involve unusual movement that is hard to grade. The gym suggests beginners start on boulders marked 4.
