MetalMark grades, explained

MetalMark opened in Fresno in 2011 and is named after the metalmark butterfly native to the region. It has about 13,000 sq ft of climbing terrain, with tall walls (a 48-foot lead wall) lit by floor-to-ceiling windows, 3,000 sq ft of bouldering and adjustable cracks for practising Yosemite-style splitters, plus fitness and yoga.

Bouldering grades

Each boulder problem is set in one hold colour and has a start tag with a single suggested V-grade. Touchstone uses this at every gym except Hyperion.
