Mission Cliffs grades, explained
Mission Cliffs is a Touchstone Climbing gym at 2295 Harrison Street in San Francisco's Mission District, and Touchstone calls it the city's first climbing gym. It opened in 1995 (Touchstone marked its 20th anniversary in 2015). It offers top-rope and lead climbing plus a bouldering area, along with a weight room and yoga classes. Touchstone lists about 23,000 sq ft of climbing terrain.
Bouldering grades
Each boulder problem is set in one hold colour and has a start tag with a single suggested V-grade. Touchstone uses this at every gym except Hyperion.
