Arkose Nice grades, explained

In the Nice Valley shopping centre, on two floors. One floor is almost all adult bouldering: 140 linear metres of climbing, two freestanding 'mushroom' boulders and a training board, set over seven difficulty levels. There is also a kids' area for ages 3–9; air-conditioned.

Bouldering grades

Arkose grades boulders with colours. Its own guide lists six levels from Yellow (introduction) to Violet (expert); a third-party table also places White below Yellow. Arkose does not publish Font equivalents, so the grades below come from a third-party conversion table.
