Arkose Angers grades, explained

In the Belle-Beille district of western Angers, in a former skatepark. Arkose's opening announcement (July 2025) describes a 1,800 m² loft with more than 130 linear metres of boulders reset every week, a kids' area for ages 4–12 and a strength and warm-up zone. The gym is run by LAC Climbing, a partner company of Arkose.

Bouldering grades

Arkose grades boulders with colours. Its own guide lists six levels from Yellow (introduction) to Violet (expert); a third-party table also places White below Yellow. Arkose does not publish Font equivalents, so the grades below come from a third-party conversion table.
