The Front Climbing Club Ogden grades, explained

The Front Ogden opened in 2010 in the former American Canning building in downtown Ogden. It has about 10,000 sq ft of birch rope walls with top rope, lead and auto belays, over 2,000 sq ft of bouldering on a central boulder, a training room with a Tension Board 2 and a 2024 MoonBoard, and a round room with crack climbing. There is also a yoga loft, a fitness studio and a gear shop; free parking is in the structure at 2060 Lincoln Ave.

Bouldering grades

A coloured dot at the start of each climb marks its difficulty band. From easiest to hardest they are yellow, blue, green, pink, red and black, which The Front calls 'hard… Yoda hard'. Posters in the gym give the numeric ranges, but the website doesn't. The V ranges below are our estimate, spreading the six dots over a typical VB–V10 range in the published order.
