Climbing Park Gangnam grades, explained
클라이밍파크 강남점
Climbing Park (클라이밍파크) is a Seoul bouldering chain; one membership covers its branches in Sinnonhyeon, Hanti, Jongno, Seongsu and Gangnam. The Gangnam branch is a 250-pyeong (about 830 m²) basement gym 5 m from Exit 4 of Gangnam Station. It offers one-day trial lessons, including an English-language class bookable on Naver.
Bouldering grades
Problems are graded by colour in nine steps: yellow, pink, blue, red, purple, brown, grey, black, then white (hardest). The gym publishes no V-grades. The ranges below come from climbers' blogs: one gives V0–V1 for the four easiest colours, and others compare the colours with The Climb, whose colours a Korean guide maps to V-grades. The top two colours are extrapolated.
