Climb Up Lyon Gerland grades, explained
The chain's original gym in Lyon's 7th arrondissement, formerly the 'Mur de Lyon', which François Petit took over in 2007. It has 2,000 m² of climbing walls with 200 routes up to 13 m, more than 200 boulders, routes and boulders for children, and a sauna. The gym is air-conditioned.
Bouldering grades
Climb Up has seven boulder levels. From easiest to hardest they are yellow, green, blue, purple, red, white and black. Climb Up doesn't publish Font equivalents, so the ranges below come from Kaskad Coaching's gym-by-gym colour table, which broadly agrees with a similar chart by Klimbr.
