Boulders Sydhavn grades, explained

Boulders is a Danish network of 11 bouldering gyms in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense and Aalborg, founded in 2009 out of a project called CPH Blocs. Its first gym was in a former Louis Poulsen lamp factory in Sydhavn; in spring 2014 it moved to the current hall on Bådehavnsgade. One membership covers all 11 gyms.

Bouldering grades

Problems are colour-coded by difficulty in eight overlapping bands: green, yellow, orange, blue, purple, red, black and pink. Boulders publishes a chart translating each colour to a V and a Font range. The V ranges are below and the Font ranges are in the notes. Boulders calls the translation a guideline, not a guarantee.
