boulder+ grades, explained
boulder+ is a Singapore bouldering brand with two gyms: Aperia Mall in Kallang and The Chevrons near Jurong East, the larger at about 22,000 sq ft with a 70° roof and a competition wall. Its FAQ says problems run from V0 to V8; climbers describe a colour circuit from white to black. Passes work at both gyms and no booking is needed.
Bouldering grades
Problems are graded by colour, from white (easiest) to black, plus wildcard problems. A Singapore climber's blog maps each colour to one V-grade, with black at about V8. The gym's website does not publish its colour key.
