Boulder Planet Sembawang grades, explained
Boulder Planet is a Singapore bouldering gym brand with two locations: Sembawang Shopping Centre (604 Sembawang Road, #B1-22/23) in the north and Grantral Mall in Tai Seng. It was co-founded by Ben Toh and Daniel Lim. The gym grades on its own 1–12 scale and says it sets to emphasise footwork, flexibility and technique.
Bouldering grades
Boulder Planet grades problems from 1 to 12, plus ungraded 'wildcard' problems. It says the 12-step scale bridges the gaps between V-grades for more gradual progression. Competition-wall problems are graded by competition category (Novice, Intermediate, Open). V-equivalents below come from one climber's blog, not from the gym.
