Fit Bloc Telok Ayer grades, explained
On level 6 of MND Building Annexe B (7 Maxwell Road) in the CBD; it opened in January 2026. It has bouldering with a competition wall, auto-belay high walls, a Tension Board 2, a slide, showers and co-working space; top-outs are allowed only in its 'Uptown' section.
Bouldering grades
Boulders are graded on Fit Bloc's own number scale. Fit Bloc doesn't publish V-grades; a Singapore climber's blog (updated July 2025) lines each level up with one V-grade, from 1 (about V1) to 8 (about V8). The blog's text says the scale goes up to 9.
| Level | V-scale | ≈ Font |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | V1 | 5A–5B |
| 2 | V2 | 5B–5C |
| 3 | V3 | 5C+–6A+ |
| 4 | V4 | 6A+–6B+ |
| 5 | V5 | 6C–6C+ |
| 6 | V6 | 6C+–7A |
| 7 | V7 | 7A+–7B |
| 8 | V8 | 7B–7B+ |
| 9 | ≥ V8 | ≥ 7B |
Fit Bloc's gyms appear to share this grading, though Fit Bloc doesn't say so outright. All Fit Bloc gyms and grades
