Beta Boulders grades, explained

Beta Boulders runs bouldering gyms that also have a co-working space and café; every entry includes use of the co-working area. It has three gyms in Copenhagen (Vanløse, Sydhavn and Østerbro), one in Amsterdam and one in Malmö, and has announced a gym in Göteborg. Memberships are valid at every gym. Boulders are graded in numbered Font levels and listed on Toplogger.

Bouldering grades

Boulders are sorted into numbered levels 1 to 8. The gym's chart gives each level a Font range and a V-scale equivalent. Level 8 means Font 7A or harder. There are also 'joker' (mystery '?') boulders, which can be any grade. Individual boulders are listed on Toplogger.
